For ZWEZ, environmental protection has been one of the most important aspects in the development of new technologies, processes and products for more than 30 years.
In the field of cold forming ZWEZ is working on strategic solutions to reduce the use of chemicals. For this purpose, appropriate high-performance lubricants are developed to eliminate phosphating.
But even with current products on the market, continuous improvements are being made in terms of even more favourable environmental behaviour. This includes not only reducing the amount of waste by extending the service life of the baths, but also reducing sludge formation and its more compatible composition.
ZWEZ has also made a name for itself by developing a special recycling system. The rinsing water of a blackening process is recycled to 100% within the plant.
For ZWEZ the environmentally compatible behaviour of products and technologies is a major part of their long-term strategy.
